Quick Start
Five minutes -- and you'll have your first document, a working AI assistant, and a clear picture of how everything fits together. We promise it'll be quick.
Step 1. Create an account
Go to app.liveai.ru and click Get Started for Free.
You can sign up with email or through your Google account -- whatever works best. Confirm via email, and you're in.
The free plan includes access to the editor and AI assistant. No ticking trial periods -- use it without any time limits. Collaboration tools are coming soon. Learn more about plans ->
Step 2. Look around
After signing in, you'll see the LiveAI workspace. On the left is the navigation panel with your documents, on the right is the AI chat, and in the center is the editor.
If this is your first visit, the system will offer a welcome template with a brief overview of what's available. Feel free to explore it or jump straight into creating your own document.
Step 3. Create your first notebook
Click "New Notebook" in the navigation panel. Give it a meaningful name -- for example, "My Ideas" or "Work Notes".
The AI assistant sees your notebook names and uses them as context. "Article about marketing" gives the AI a better hint about the topic than "Untitled 1".
The notebook will open in the editor. Start typing -- text appears instantly. Try some basic formatting:
Use Cmd instead of Ctrl. Everything else works the same way.
Step 4. Try the AI chat
Open the AI chat on the right panel and ask any question. For example:
- "Come up with 5 article ideas about remote work"
- "Explain in simple terms what a neural network is"
- "Write an intro for a blog post about travel"
The AI responds in real time -- text appears as it's generated, so you don't have to wait for the full response to be ready.
Choose a model
Three model tiers are available in the chat:
Each request costs LiveCoins -- the platform's internal currency. Basic requests are cheaper, Super requests cost more. Learn more about LiveCoins ->
Step 5. AI assistant in the editor (coming soon)
The in-editor AI assistant is currently in development. For now, you can use the AI chat from Step 4 above. Learn more in the Roadmap.
Soon, the AI will work right inside the editor too. Select any text fragment and invoke the assistant. It will be able to:
- Rewrite the selected text
- Improve style and grammar
- Continue your thought
- Translate to another language
The more specific your prompt, the better the result. Instead of "improve this," try "rewrite in a conversational tone, remove jargon, and shorten to 3 sentences."
Step 6. Organize your workspace
Over time, you'll accumulate more documents. Create folders for different projects and drag notebooks between them.
Useful techniques:
- Folders -- group notebooks by project or topic
- Nested folders -- create a structure as deep as you need
- Drag and drop -- simply move a notebook into the desired folder
What's next?
