AI Chat
The AI chat is your conversation with the AI. It lives on the right panel and is always at hand: ask a question, request text generation, analyze information, or just have a casual conversation. Responses appear in real time — word by word, as if someone is typing.
Getting started
Open the right panel (AI Chat) and type a message. That is it. There are no settings you need to configure "before you begin." Just write — and the AI will respond.

- "What are the five key marketing trends of 2026?"
- "Rewrite this text in simpler terms for a 16-18 year old audience"
- "Compare the pros and cons of remote work in a table format"
Chat features
Streaming
Text appears gradually — you see the response as it is being generated. There is no need to wait for the AI to "think" and deliver a finished result. You can start reading right away.
Notebook context
When you are working in a notebook, the AI chat can see its contents. This means you can ask about "the text above" or "this article" — and the AI will understand what you mean.
Notebook context is enabled automatically — you will see the active notebook name as a tag above the input field. If you do not want to share the contents, you can disable it with a single tap.
The more material in the notebook, the more accurate the AI becomes. If you are writing an article, the AI sees all previous paragraphs and suggests continuations that logically fit your text.

Formatted responses
The AI does not just respond with plain text. Responses can include:
- Headings and lists — for structured information
- Tables — for comparisons and data
- Code blocks — with syntax highlighting
- Links — to sources, when web search was used
Working with responses
Each AI message offers actions:
- Copy — copy the entire response to the clipboard
- Save to notebook — send the response directly to the current document
- Retry — regenerate the response (useful if the first version was not quite right)
File attachments
Click the file button in the input field to attach an image or document. The AI will analyze the file contents and factor them into its response.
Choosing a model
At the bottom of the chat, you can select a model. Three tiers — from fast and affordable to maximum power:

Chat modes
In addition to regular text conversation, the chat supports two special modes:
- Web search — the AI will find up-to-date information and respond with source links. Learn more ->
