Works without internet
Most online services only exist while you have a connection. Internet drops — work stops. LiveAI works differently: data saves to your device first, and only then syncs to the cloud.
How it works
While you type, text saves directly to your device. This happens automatically — no need to click Save or enable a special mode. When internet becomes available, changes sync to the cloud. If you worked on your phone without Wi-Fi, then opened your laptop — everything updates on its own. A similar approach is used by Obsidian, but without built-in sync.
When this matters
On the subway or in transit. Connection comes and goes — notes save without gaps.
On a plane. You can work through the whole flight. After landing and getting online, everything syncs.
In a library or out of town. Where Wi-Fi is slow or unavailable — work does not stop.
When connection drops mid-session. Internet disappears while you are writing — the text is not lost. It is already on your device.
Data does not disappear
Close the browser, restart the computer, turn off the phone — when you next open LiveAI, everything is where you left it. Especially valuable for researchers working with large volumes of material.
Sync between devices
Write notes on your phone — open on your laptop. Changes are there. No need to think about which version is current or where the last edit was made.
