The editor
The editor in LiveAI is built for writing without distraction. It supports the formatting that most tasks require: from simple notes to structured documents with tables and code blocks.
What the editor supports
No extra panels, menus, or settings cluttering the screen. Just your text and the tools you need, available when you need them.
Headings and structure — H1, H2, H3 for organizing long documents
Lists — bulleted and numbered, nested lists for adding detail
Tables — added directly in the text, useful for comparisons and data
Code blocks — with syntax highlighting, good for technical notes
Markdown shortcuts — the familiar syntax works without switching modes. Full list of keyboard shortcuts
Why this matters
When the editor supports the formatting you actually need, you do not have to switch to another app for a "proper" document. Everything — notes, drafts, structured materials — lives in one place. This is especially important when working with AI: well-structured notes give it better context than unformatted text.
A clean interface
The editor does not get in the way of writing. The toolbar appears when needed and hides itself. Cursor, text, thought — without interruptions. This does not mean there are few tools. They simply do not take up screen space when you are not formatting. Combined with AI context, it becomes a powerful writing environment.
