Export to Word and Markdown
Notes in LiveAI are not always the final destination. Finished text often needs to go somewhere: to a client, an editor, a blog, or a code repository. One click — the file is ready.
Export formats
Three formats for different needs.
Word (DOCX) — opens in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, LibreOffice. Formatting is preserved: headings stay headings, tables stay tables.
Markdown — renders correctly in GitHub, GitLab, Obsidian, and most static site generators. Good for developers and technical documentation.
HTML — ready-made code for inserting into a website or CMS.
When you need it
Sending to a client. You wrote a text or meeting notes for a client — export to Word and send it. No manual copying or worrying about formatting.
Passing to an editor. The draft is ready. Export to DOCX, and the editor can revise it with familiar tools in Word.
Publishing technical content. You wrote documentation or an article — export to Markdown and put it on GitHub or GitLab.
Posting to a website. HTML export lets you insert the finished content into a CMS or page directly.
Formatting does not break
When you export, the document structure is preserved. First-level headings become headings in Word. Lists stay lists. Tables transfer correctly. No need to manually fix formatting after exporting — that would take time and defeat the purpose. More about supported elements in the formatting documentation.
